I know we are coming off a loss but I have to say that this is the most fun I’ve had being a Vikings fan since the Favre year. It’s hard to explain but the vibe and general attitude the team has is just fun and even in a loss I’m still satisfied with the game I watched. I’d argue it exceeded the feeling I had last year where only time I was happy was when we won, and not the actual game itself. But now with how Dobbs makes plays out of nothing and how well our defense is playing compared to last year, we can be blown out in the wildcard and I’d still be happy with how the season turned out. God bless the Vikings.
You enjoy these turnover-filled games?
You’d be happy getting blown out in a playoff game?
Kind of a hyperbole, but I wouldn’t mind in the sense that I would be satisfied regardless of the result. In comparison to last year, where we would be out coached for most of the game only to have a solid drive at the end grew tiresome and it there was always that sense of dread that it wouldn’t be sustainable in the playoffs, which eventually became true.
Now however, with everything I said in the original post, there is more of a “unknowingness” to this style of play that is straight up more entertaining than what I’ve seen recently from this team that makes me look forward to watching this team rather than just hoping they win. Also giving me a better sense that we can make more noise in the playoffs than years past. Again though I’m just spit balling and it’s just how I feel, probably in the minority here.
how is this season fun? lol, we lost our QB and our all pro receiver who are 90% of our offensive production.
I loved last year, because it was so fun to watch the team find ways to win games.
The chemistry of the team has mostly carried over and matured, and I love their attitude and teamwork. The turnovers have been brutal (we’d have a similar record to last year without), but I think that this team is a lot better than they get credit for, and is still poised to make a playoff run if they can stay hot at the right time and hold onto the ball.
Even if I don’t always love KOC’s playcalls, I love the culture he has created. The team’s resilience in the wake of adversity, especially after losing our Captain and how the team has stepped up in JJ’s absence, gives me faith.
I’m enjoying this season as well bro, the loss last night sucked but it’s just a small bump. Get back on track for the Bears at our place.
Why is everyone here so negative, holy fucking hell. It was a 1 point loss on the road to a non-con opponent who is playing hot, Dobbs played fine, learn to enjoy this for what it is
For sure. Last season was pretty fun too. I love being on the edge of my seat.
It has been a unique season. First year lurking in this sub and this community has some unique characters.
From burn it all down, fire Kwesi, fire KOC to Kwesi is a genius, KOC is a genius.
Grown ass 30+ year old males crying like a spoiled suburb child who didn’t get a ps5 for Christmas and got a vintage ps2 with NFL 2K5.
Tbf 2k5 is a great game 😂
2022, 2017 were way more fun
