tbh…those were moves that needed to be made because of one of the worst defensive performances of alltime (against the Dolphins)

I guess I give VJ credit for how well the scheme has worked but I don’t think he benched Mathis because it was the “right” move or anything. He benched Mathis because he was desperate and if our defense continued to be the WOAT he would’ve been deported to Antarctica
