I think it’s save to say Howell, Terry, Allen and Payne aren’t going anywhere. Forbes, Kam and Tress Way are staying probably as well.

Everyone else expendable?

i think one guy from the D-line gotta go between payne and allen. i like them and they’re good players, but the amount of money we are paying for the lack of consistency we’ve seen is not acceptable.

People hate hearing it…I love Terry but I’m fine if he ISNT here next year as well as allen…would suck tremendously…though…there’s also a variable that new coaching staff comes in and gets current roster to ball out…

Gibson gone, low ball Curl, extend Howell, 5th year option for Davis, shop/restructure/cut Samuel (consider eating dead cap).

I like Curl but he’s not worth overpaying for, one more year for Davis to ascend.

Forbes is on the 100% staying list

Moving a first round pick after their rookie year makes no sense regardless of their level of play.

He’s been playing better. He started off terrible but seems better. I think our dbs don’t like this zone match system or it isn’t being taught well. They need to simplify the damn system. For example… the broncos talked about how their scheme was causing the players to think too much and play slow… they simplified the scheme. Look at them now… knocking off 4 teams in a row holding some really good offense down… and getting turnovers. Seems so simple of a concept… del Rio drew up some good stunts and blitz tho.

Haskins got 16 weeks so there is a precedent on a timeline.

I’m willing to bet we could only trade him for a 6th anyway so I’d rather give him another shot. Everyone has been underperforming on defense this year anyway which means coaching is a bigger problem than talent.

    Depends on whose coaching.

An in house coach like EB keeps more than a completely new guy and even if EB stays, look for a D exodus as the new DC gets his house in order.

    If I were guessing:

Terry, Jahan,Brob, Howell are 110% roster locks

    Payne, Allen on D.

Kam and Fuller are FAs. Highly debatable how new DC sees it

I like Logan but as a vet backup once he teaches a new guy or in two te sets. An emergency qb with nfl reps is rare and can be a valuable piece as a backup (though less important with new 3qb rules) or trick play qb. Keep- Allen, Payne, curl, Terry, jahan as a #3 while he’s cheap and sam Cut everybody else

Unless his contract prohibits it, unsure why Allen is untouchable. He’s on the downward

Ditto Payne but assuming his contract is prohibitive
