The NBA is an entertainment business. They are in it for the money and will do everything in its power to influence the results towards the most compelling and profitable narrative.

Unfortunately, the Canadian team in the U.S. league is an afterthought. There’s no money in us winning and so we will always get the shitty end of the whistle.
