Why are we not coaching our players this simple fundamental part of defense?!
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoGTJ’s inability to score at the rim is such a killer. He has to be one of the worst scoring guards at the basket in the NBA

Scottie with HOF company. Crazy that Giannis is only on that list once

At least look at the damn rim lol
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoIf the 0.5 offense basically just a 5 out offense that requires dribble penetration and kick outs that lead to fast ball movement for an open shot we need a new offense.
We don’t have the personnel to penetrate offenses effective enough to create the ball movement.
All I see are pick and rolls and zero off ball movement.
Literally no offense sets being played. Just a flow offense that gets nowhere
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoFlynn hit that 3 but WTF was that offense. It was 3 straight possessions of Flynn dribbling around bad screens by Scottie and absolutely zero movement by anyone else

If his body can’t handle 15 minutes of basketball a game he should just retire. If he wants to be an NBA player he should be playing every night.

Just put Boucher in instead and have Scottie guard the opposing Centers
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoEd Malloy watched Scottie get hacked and just swallowed his whistle lol
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoCan Gradey be a designated free throw shooter? Our free throw shooting has been atrocious

unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #18: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-9)/(1-2) @ Brooklyn Nets (8-8)/(1-2) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN & SN1 -English1·1 year agoScottie has this awful tendency of letting bad play affect his effort and body language.
Who tf cares you missed some shots that you should’ve hit? Get back on defense and move on to the next play!
Side note: He’s also setting way too much with the jump shot rather than attacking the rim or attacking from the low block which are his strengths. He should be focusing on creating 1 or 2 elite skills rather than having a bunch of average to good skills.
unclekarl_Bto Toronto Raptors@nba.space•GAME #17: TORONTO RAPTORS (8-8) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (8-8) - 7:30pm (EST) on SN1 -English1·1 year agoMobley doesn’t seem to have improved much since his rookie year TBH.
Scottie has clearly surpassed him IMO
I’m sorry but Darko’s “offense” is no different than Nurse’s.
Meaning there is no offense. We run zero sets.
