Yes it is a ringer post. Yes Ruiz wrote it.
Still, I think there’s an interesting tidbit to be had. Apparently Tua’s problems this year is that he’s been very unlucky on 3rd down this year compared to last. He’s had more turnovers (luck based) on fewer turnover worthy plays. So it seems like he’s regressing towards the norm. On 3rd down.
Part of me wants to say McD trying to get too fancy on 3rd down is coming into play as well. I mean if it’s 3rd and 1, why aren’t you running it straight up the middle twice? Why not incorporate the Tush Push because Tua never skips leg day?
So some of miami’s offensive woes have been luck, so there’s a chance things will start getting better by the end of the year.
I would never put Tua in a Tush Push type of play. I thought that would be where we use Alec Ingold more but apparently not. I’m still in favor of finding a true power back for these situations. Fournette isn’t on the Bills’ active roster yet, right?
Why not incorporate the Tush Push because Tua never skips leg day?
I can think of few worse options to put your fragile QB in. Hell, Mahomes got hurt on a QB sneak a few years ago and I feel like the Chiefs have barely run it since out of pure fear.
Mahomes got fucked up… Only 2 QBs can pull it off Allen and Hurts
This is one of the most fair assessment’s I’ve seen from Ruiz who is normally a huge hater of QB’s that come from the Shanny tree.
Direct snap to Wilkens (Tush Push)
