Really surprised how so many of the top results are big AAA games. The main reason I got the Deck was so Steam’s extensive indie library could be played anywhere. If I wanted to play a AAA game I’d do it on a console/TV, instead of a tiny screen.
Either Octopath Traveller 2 or Star Ocean 2’s remake would be my answer. I know they’re also AAA games, but they’re perfect as a pocket sized experience and run at a smooth 60fps all the time.
For emulation? MGS Peace Walker, Dissidia Duodecim and Crisis Core are all perfect handheld games that run stunningly well on the Steam Deck, amazing for pick up and go gameplay.
