Mike Tomlin “this does not fit my standard therefore no more carries for you”

He had 8 carriers for like 150 yards, then nothing… Why we keep passing on 3rd downs ? Id rather have even Najee than trying a curl to Robinson again on third down

Forget about who “starts” at RB, honestly at this point they should just make the entire offense Jaylen Warren with 35 carries per game. Maybe every now and then kenny can hit the odd throw off play action. Najee is a decent pass blocker and checkdown reciever, so he can play 3rd downs.

I thought the top said “Who is The Shittiest” and I got very confused

As a side note, I think this really solidifies what type of player Najee is. Will break an above average amount of tackles, but not getting very many yards, likely due to a mix of stacked boxes and poor speed

I like both backs and want us to continue to use both backs. However, when one is hot like Warren was, ride the hot back.

I really don’t know what to say… I’m impressed with Warren this season, but wonder how much of his success and Najee’s struggles are due to schemes. We all talked about it a few weeks ago on here; I know I came away convinced by the argument that defenses had tons of reads on Najee but not with Warren.

The eye test tells me Warren is good. Numbers like this one are good. But I can’t shake this suspicion that it would be different if each back swapped schemes. I’m genuinely curious what folks think about schemes in this issue.

      Najee 2021 - 3.9 ypc

      Najee 2022 - 3.8 ypc

      Najee 2023 - 3.9 ypc

This is just who he is. It has nothing to do with schemes.

Give me more two back sets. Let’s act like we got Thunder and Lightning 2.0

Jalen all alone up there. Najee is so overrated. Nice guy but overrated. Can’t blame the OL when there is such a stark contrast between Harris and Warren’s results.

Just want to point out that Najee is right alongside Mixon, JT, CMC in terms of missed tackles forced, hinting that he gets hit behind the line a lot.

I still want Warren getting 60-70% of snaps, but this also shows Najee gets shafted by scheme

It’s simple, use him more than 9 touches. We will probably win despite poor QB play.
