I said 11-6 in January when I saw that schedule and I still firmly believe in 11-6. 12-5 would surprise me, 13-4 is just not being realistic (but if it happens I’d obviously be stoked).

Steelers Drama Then Vs Now:
Then: AB antics, Ben passive aggressive comments, LBell drama. Nobody ever takes accountability
Now: Pickens says dumb shit on social media, gets his act together. Najee (rightfully) calls out the offensive performance - backs it up the next week. DJ does some crybaby shit on the field, apologizes
The drama and diva posturing is still there but it does feel like there is a better sense of accountability and less narcissism and anti social behavior compared to the previous decade
Let’s see how my comment ages but the turnover differential was important until now. I think we are going to see an offense that goes out there and competes consistently, not just a few random drives like we have seen almost the entire season.
I know we scrape the bottom of the barrel in opposition the next two weeks, and I believe this offense can consistently get yardage like Sunday - but we need more than 20 points to show if we’re facing the Cards and Patriots. If we can’t showcase some capable results, despite any ref fuckery, we’re fucked.
I love that the 420 meme pick it ironically the tying pick
That was Canada era baby
We finally had a big break passing play! Holy shit
If we hit exactly 412 yards of total offense…STILLERS GAHNTA SUPERBOWL
I’ll believe it when I see it. If we get the Pickett we saw in Atlanta preseason for a full 4 quarters for like three games in a row I’ll be a believer. But show us first.
I mean give us a mid offense like described paired with a great defense that wins the turnover battle frequently, in this sort of hit and miss 2023 league, with a 6-4 record, that’s actually something that could amount to something. Ultimately our o line or Kenny will probably fail us, or Tomlin’s coaching decisions but it looks a little optimistic going forward.
Yeah, considering we aren’t playing a Super Bowl caliber defense next week let Kenny just sling it. If he legitimately can’t do it anymore (was he even able to to begin with?), then maybe it’s time to look at those other QBs.
It’s simple, use him more than 9 touches. We will probably win despite poor QB play.
I really hope I don’t eat these words: if there’s a divisional game for Minkah to miss it’s against a DTR led offense that will probably run it a shit ton
Joe Flacco spread eagle as Polamalu takes him down on the jumbotron, classic
OP is basically Pittsburgh Colin Cowherd
Spillane is a truck of a human, just a solid defensive dude. Raiders was a great fit for him
Would be some type of fateful event, considering the last franchise to be the bottom seed and win it all almost 20 years ago (the only one iirc) drafted him.
The Pittsburgh Steelers playing to win the division are essentially Mr. Bean in Rat Race
Oh yeah, Bengals are sweeping us this season. A healthy Burrow against our secondary is a death knell for us, especially if Minkah is out for an extended period of time.
I wouldn’t mind if we drafted a center in the 2nd round or something. Mason Cole has been a weak spot
