It’s all about pacing. Everything grinds to a halt when Harden has the ball. Things are much faster now that he’s gone.

Harden wasn’t playing point guard for the first 4 games so this misses major context

He used to be a guy who couldn’t win a ring, and he still is.

to shoot harden the tiniest amount of bail, i think this is more a byproduct of the entire offense getting revamped than any personal faults he had

Doesn’t he have 10 asts right now? Tbh I think that is more because of the weird starting lineup they had with Russ

Guys who like to dominate the ball like Harden does are pretty much never as good offensively as their stats indicate, especially when it comes to assists.

OF COURSE a player who has the ball in his hands all the time will have many assists - because he has the ball in his hands all the time and he’s going to pass it sometimes and the guy he passes it to will sometimes score. But such a player also stagnates an offense because when one player dominates the ball it inhibits ball movement and moving without the basketball to get easier shots.
