He definitely didn’t get it wrong signing Monty and drafting Gibbs. I rewatched the game today and they both were playing their asses off. IMO they have been upgrades from Williams and Swift.

He didn’t mess up the deadline, he wanted to make sure he didn’t mess up our future. We weren’t going to sign any of those end rushers to a long-term deal because we have to lock in our excellent young leaders like St Brown, Goff, and Sewell, to name a few. It wasn’t worth a few months rental, and it would have disrupted the flow of this team. Your premise is incorrect, whereas your observations about our running backs have been pretty obvious for a while to most everyone but you.
