anyone else sick of seeing KAT’s ugly ass face and gyrations ?
RJ again 4/13 seriously Randle and Brunson need help with this mofo eating 30mil of the cap space and doing nothing
Let them eat their damn chicken. We get to rest and get ready for Miami at home.
Tough loss. We need to really address our lack of size before the trade deadline we are gonna get killed by bigger teams. Brunson and Mitch played well.
Tough loss, game really was lost exclusively in the third quarter. Can’t come out flat in the second after an already iffy start offensively against a team like this.
A lot of positives to take away from this still, Mitch still balling out defensively. Brunson still solid, just needed anybody else to get it going and this game was much more winnable. It’s still orange and blue skies out there just need to clear some clouds
Worrying game from RJ without even looking at the box score/shooting numbers. Way too many dumb RJ plays that had been rare during his good start to the season. Have to hope he can get it back on track and not snowball it like he has throughout his career.
Grimes getting worked by one of the toughest scorers in the league and game thread wanted to put the guy who couldn’t stay in front of Kyle Anderson on him instead. Really good logic. I’m glad people have realized Divincenzo is actually a helpful player but y’all gotta understand last game was a career high in points and 3s, that’s literally never been who he is every night. Clearly didn’t have it tonight on offense either.
Stupid Stat of the night: Second game in a row where we gave the away crowd free chik-fil-a bc of consecutive missed FTs
I want to love grimes but man, when his wide open shots aren’t falling, what exactly is he good for?? His defense is vastly overrated and he doesn’t really do much else on the court. Need to see him pick it up or we might need to start a different SG in the starting lineup.
I don’t think he’s told to do much else
Is it me or is grimes not shooting well this season?
I said before road trip at worst 2-3, at best 3-2. Why are people annoyed, this was a scheduled loss, yes they played like shit, but this would have been a night in years past teams would have sat players, 3 games in 4 days all on the road with travel. Unless you are an all time great team, most teams lose tonight’s game, i mean C ‘s lost tonight in charlotte, kings lost on a back to back by 30 to the pelicans. The nba does this scheduling shit al the time. It’s why players complain, thankfully they have 3 days off, come home to get revenge on those pieces of trash Heat and get the W, a loss on friday will annoy me a thousand times more then tonight
This game and the previous Celtics game are good indicators of where this team is: competitive, but not yet able to hang with the top tier. I don’t really think of MN as top tier, but Edwards+Towns+Gobert all looking like they care at the same time is making me think otherwise. Do the Knicks need to make a move? Or do they need to do what they do and just get better as the season progresses? Would help if RJ didn’t revert back to Nov 2022 RJ. Oh well, get this win against Miami. For some reason I want this tournament title, like- any title for the Knicks would make me happy, you know?
Unfortunately the Knicks still can’t beat the big boys of the league. They’re a very good team but still missing one elite piece to truly be legit contenders
Three takeaways:
- Grimes’ defense is not worth his horrible offense. It hasn’t been good this season. Start Donte until he figures it out.
- It’s getting to the point where I get scared when Randle does something as little as dribble the fucking ball because the dude keeps overdribbling and flailing everywhere. It either ends up as a turnover or he gets fouled and misses free throws.
- Haven’t beaten a good team yet. It concerns a lot of people, but not me yet. It’s still only November and we have two more chances this week with the Heat and the Suns coming up. This team is still solid.
RJ really is ANT man’s bitch smh. Thank the heavens hes in the western conference.
Crazy how you can tell the legitimately cool NBA fanbases apart from the really bad ones (Lakers/Warriors). Gg Knicks, you guys just weren’t hitting shots. Impressed by your team overall this year. Robinson is a legit problem on the boards.
