    Obviously the comment was based on Kelce and Jones being out, BUT I will say that this game is a good reminder that all winning teams are opportunistic. I know I have felt like maybe we didn’t “earn” some of the wins we’ve gotten: KC drops, Baker missed some key throws, Garoppolo missed some key throws, even Fields missed a throw on what would have probably been a game-sealing third down conversion for them.

    Yet you look at a game like this that KC could have won if MVS comes down with that catch, and had a really good chance of winning if Watson comes up with that 4th down catch…but I don’t think anyone will say The Eagles didn’t “earn” the win. They are 9-1 and they beat the Super Bowl champs at home. The Eagles put themselves in a position to make the other team execute, and get rewarded when the other team can’t.

    In my less pessimistic moments, that’s how I feel about the Lions. In my more pessimistic moments, I think about how easily they could have lost a few of those games, and how we might not get so lucky next time.

      Yeah I don’t care if you beat the worst team in history on a last second field goal. Playoff seeding doesn’t care about asterisks

    All this asterisk talk is really just bullshit fr cause in the world sports nobody is perfect and not everyone will win it all look at TB his best regular season was his undefeated season with Moss and they didn’t win it all when it came to Eli manning and the Giants if you wanna win bring your fucking A game injuries happened that’s just sports at the end of the day the Lions wanted that win way more than the chiefs did that was their trap game.

    Lebron literally came back from 3-1 deficit do you think he didn’t earn that win? Imo he did nobody told draymond to get suspended that’s all on him lebron did what he was supposed to like how the Lions did what they supposed to which was capitalized off their opponents mistakes to win stop with the damn excuses and i mean that from the Vikings to the Bears.

    MMA can be another example if i trick you into biting on a fake punch and i win by TKO do i deserve an asterisk? You can argue well if he didn’t bite into the fake he wouldn’t lost well he did and i took advantage it’s about strategy turning your opponent weakness against them.
