    I’ll never say “must win” 13 games into the season.

    To drop below .500 would take a ton of wind outta the sails for this year. We’ll be alight I know that. But damn we gotta beat teams like the Pacers

    For perspective, the Pacers (26) have a worse defensive rating than the Hawks (21). I think Trae lights it up tonight.

    I’m going to be the optimist here and say that what we are seeing from the Hawks right now is our absolute floor and it won’t get worse. The end of December has been our lowest point these last couple seasons, I think it will be a high point this year.

    We’re running new offensive and defensive schemes. We are going to get better in them. Trae is going to improve as he gets more comfortable not having insanely high usage.

    I think by the end of December/early January we’ll have a nice 7-10 game win streak going.
