I’m just laughing still reading people defending Zach Wilson. The only talent he has is making your mom cum.
How many snaps does Boyle make it before getting injured behind this horrific O-line?
It’s funny to me how everyone underrated the roster before the season saying a 4-3 start with Rodgers would be great, but somehow this team is too good to be 4-6 with a backup qb.
Tim Boyle won’t save the season.
12-22, 98 yards, 1 INT.
That was Luke Falk’s stat line at New England and I view it as Boyle’s ceiling on Friday.
This season may be one of the most depressing ones ever as a Jets fan. I haven’t been this let down since Prom night.
However, I think there are silver linings when it comes to this stuff. Rodgers would have definitely made this team exponentially better, but I still think the holes were too big to make a deep run in the playoffs. The injury coming snap 4 instead of week 14 means he didn’t take the usual wear and tear of a season for a 39/40 year old and might be coming in totally fresh for next season.
The other thing is the weird Zach mentoring/evaluating period has now happened and should be over. I think alot of people were worried JD would use Rodgers as an excuse to give him the 5th year or even extend him to a new contract touting it as a discount. I just hope we use our resources to help the team next year and truly find a future QB in the next 2 drafts.
What really bugs me is how people hate Zach so much but defend Douglas for the pick.
Like you want to see Josh Dobbs or Trevor Simean but you don’t think we’d be 6-4 with Justin Fields or Mac Jones?
Our OL sucks even when healthy despite spending a lot of draft capital and FA money on them. Meanwhile other teams can find lineman with late round picks, trades, and steals in FA. So much for having an OL guru. Our OL coach probably sucks too.
Just realized this was the first game we lost that Breece Hall scored in.

So for the people who want Hackett fired, who gets Zach Wilson to not play like the worst NFL QB of the century?
The bald frauds JD and Saleh are a worse duo than Jordan Poole and Kyle Kuzma
The clowns on Tierney and Lucata are talking about Rex coming back as HC lol
I am one of the biggest Zach haters on this sub and will pour myself a glass of Yamazaki 18 when he is no longer on our roster and able to to haunt my Sundays BUT Tim Boyle is worse statistically and on tape.
The sooner we can get to Trevor Siemian the better.
I just watched the “winners and losers” from That’s Good Sports, and it amazes me how each team has plays where receivers just run free. Giants, Texans, Chiefs, etc all had guys WIDE open. I’m so tired of just plain BAD play calling on offense
I’m rooting for us to lose out. If we lose out, we might be able to climb all the way to the 3rd pick. As long as the Cardinals stay at 2, we will have a chance at Williams/Maye. Or at least get a haul for them. If the Cardinals start winning with Kyler back, then we’ll need the 2nd pick.
I expect the other 4 win teams to win games. The Bears looked decent last week so hopefully they start winning. Titans should beat the Panthers and their SOS is harder, so we get tiebreaker. We need the Giants and Pats to pick up 1 and 2 wins respectively. As of now, we have an easier SOS. They play each other so one of them will get a win. And we play the Pats and they always beat us.
But we know how this ends. We’ll probably beat the Pats in week 18 to break our streak and hand them Williams/Maye who terrorizes us for 15 years.
