Basically asking which game would you keep playing regardless on how many years passes, you always play that game every year (doesn’t matter how much time).

In my case that game would be Risk of Rain 2. Each year me and friends play some runs and have a lot of fun since it was on early access (we always play a few months every year)

Which game will you keep playing?

Skyrim. "Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle” don’t care. I play it every winter and it just feels like a cozy escape. Mods make this game have unlimited replay value and there are surprisingly in depth builds you can make. I have sunk thousands of hours over the years and still haven’t beaten the main quest.

league of legends. im in junior year of college and was introduced to the game in 6th grade. i’ve been playing on and off ever since, usually taking a year or two hiatus in between just due to life and stuff but i will always be invested in the game and will always play. it’s a staple. i haven’t played a game with such a high skill ceiling (besides fortnite), that scratches the massive competitive itch i have, while also delivering on aesthetics and pure fun. that feeling of winning a 45 minute back and forth banger in ranked, or just having fun in ARAM while listening to music is unmatched for me.

Portal 2, with the steam workshop on PC it’s never over. Quite satisfying to find solutions after spending a while on a map.

Overwatch. I know the problems, but I just like it so much. When everyone on the team is playing well, there’s no feeling like it in gaming for me.

A couple years ago I reinstalled SWG and got right back into it for a month or so. Nothing like the 10k hours I put into it back in the early 2000s, but still had a good bit of fun.

Red dead redemption 2. A great masterpiece, from plot to game design, to audio/music score, to character development, to graphics, to gameplay etc. Truly a game that is always in my top tier list

Any of the Monster Hunters. Specifically Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as it was my first game in the franchise but I regularly return to all the titles since that and at some point I plan to play the older ones too if I find some time.
