I’ll go first, Sonic the Hedgehog.
Fallout
Tetris lol
Worms. I know Worms 3D was pretty well liked, but for me, it ruined the entire aesthetic and fun of the game.
Totally agree
Agreed.
The true GOAT “Worms 3D” is Hogs of War!
This is kind of a hot take but Metriod, as popular as the Prime games are they can’t hold a candle to 2D Metriod, for me at least.
Fire Emblem by a million miles
Pokemon
The was so much personality captured in a single sprite and now almost every Pokemon is just default posing while staring into the void. Plus the world design completely tanked.
I will say that I did really enjoy X and Y, but Gens 3-5 are my favorite.
Pac-Man
Not quite the question that was asked but I think it did transition well but then transitioned back to 2D: Rayman.
I thought Rayman 2: The Great escape was a unique platformer even in an age that was rife with great ones, but somehow never progressed from there. Maybe I’m just nostalgic.
God of war?
God of war?
Monkey island 4
Pac-Man 😂😂😂
Jazz Jackrabbit
