You will all see that Kenny still sucks even with a different OC at the helm. I am hoping the FO realizes this and that we cut ties with Kenny ASAP. I cannot deal with us playing out his entire rookie contract. Sunk cost. Move on and go get Fields or bet the farm to go up and get Caleb.

Yeah, what a crazy idea that the way the Steelers have operated over the last 2 years is horrible for a young QB’s development and maybe we should see him under an actual NFL-caliber coordinator’s tutelage before we write him off.

Good move. I know people will pound Kenny next game, but let’s give at least 3 games to see improvement.

Yes, I’m worried abt the same things. Fans will go ballistic if no immediate improvement will occur. We need patience

From my understanding, yes Kenny is inaccurate but also yes that Canada constantly calls plays where routes are independent of eachother. There’s no hot reads where they simulate opening players. I think it only happens with George Pickens a few times? At least this is what I gathered from Alex Kozora after he reviewed the All 22. But I could be wrong too…but I would imagine how that is confusing to learn. I also haven’t seen the players get directly mad at Kenny. I guess we shall see….next week on the shit show known as the Steelers offense

Imagine getting more joy from being an “I told you so!” than just being a fan of a football team. Bizarre stuff.

If his play doesn’t improve, we’ll not get: “You can’t expect him to come in and play well under a new OC? I mean that’s even worse than when he didn’t get enough reps with the starters in training camp in year 1!”

KP still gets next year IMO.

I think this move is because they were losing the players (DJ outburst on the sideline and Najee’s press conference after the game). I think they’d done a really good job having the players keep their issues behind closed doors. But when they’d been patient and done what was asked for this long and they finally boil over, it’s time for the coach to go.

We’ll never know, but my guess is that Tomlin was ready for this to happen earlier but needed Rooney to OK it. And based on team history, Rooneys don’t like paying coaches to not work for them.

I’m skeptical of Kenny too, but we shall see. I’m happy he gets a chance with no excuses.

Well it’s put up or shut up time now. Canada is gone, but he had nothing to do with Kenny being completely erratic on his throws, staring down receivers, even if he was forced to throw to that specific guy(not saying he was, just giving an example) never looking elsewhere to throw the D off, and that stupid spin out right into a sack thing he does. Yo Kenny, you’re NOT Lamar Jackson.
