Hey all! Just brought my 2016 991 in for its 90k service and got a quote that I wanted to run by you.

The base 90k service is $1400 and then on top of that they’re changing out my drive belt for an additional $1000.

I also gave them a couple of other items to check on: choppy acceleration, coolant reservoir sensor, and the high level brake light problem with the wiring harness on the spoiler. They’re combining those three diagnostic tasks into a $300 charge.

Obviously if they find something with those, it will cost more for parts and labor, but I just wanted to get you thoughts on the $3000 for 90k, drive belt, and diag of 3 issues.

PS this is not a complaint thread on how much it costs, as I expect big numbers and have money set aside for regular maintenance. Just tell me if you think they’re way out of line.

Thank you!

I bought a 2012 991.1 C2S with 30k miles in January and had the drive belt replaced to be proactive. It was $585 in San Diego from an independent German mechanic.
