I know you can call holding almost every play, but there were multiple OBVIOUS holds on literally every single big run by the Chiefs in the 1st half. It was bad man, Cox and Davis were getting their jerseys ripped off right in front of the refs and didn’t get a single flag out of 10+ holds I see. Cox specifically was even trying to oversell and throw his hands up to make it more obvious and still wasn’t getting calls
We all saw the hold on Sweat during KC’s first TD, but him, Reddick, and Carter were being straight up tackled at times. We obviously got the win but I’d be happy to never fucking play them again lol I can’t believe how much the refs let them get away with
Chiefs are now the Patriots, get away with a ton of shit.
Nah, it was fine.
That reffing crew is near the bottom of all reffing crews in holding calls, so it was always going to be a bit of a “let them play” game.
It wasn’t just KC, it’s been happening all season against this DL. Carter and the boys started going off early in the season and every team has been looking to get away with as much as they can ever since. It could also just be a league-wide issue, I don’t watch OL play closely enough in other games to assert that though. The refs can’t just call a hold on every play or the league would be up their asses for ruining the game, and opposing teams know that, so they’re just going to keep doing it. Gonna have to deal with it.
I made multiple posts about the holding. The first half was almost every play. And I know that you can find holding on almost every play, but Monday took that statement to a whole new level.
Yea it was pretty painful. You could easily erase half if not more of PattyCake’s scrambles off the board if the interior guys weren’t getting mauled
Y’all complain too much
Yeah and their centre doesn’t touch the ball on the ground, if kelce is getting called on little wiggles then Humphrey’s should be getting multiple calls in a game. I’m glad they finally called him on it when Graham jumps off the line.
Honestly there’s holding on every play. You can call holding on every single play. But to me it was the totally egregious hands to the face all night, against Reddick more specifically. He was having his facemask pushed back all night and didn’t get one call. It was really really bad. Would have liked to see one or two of those called to get the Chiefs playing a little more by the book, instead they realized they could get away with it all night, and did.
