Hi hi,
So I’m in a bit of a content drought and hoping to start working in some gaming news outlets that I haven’t followed regularly before. Things like polygon/kotaku/rock paper shotgun/etc.
Was hoping to hear from you all which outlets have earned your trust over the past couple years - which ones have broken important stories? which ones have maintained journalistic integrity in your eyes?
Totally recommend Digital Foundry for their unique and expert view on gaming. Even the devs watch their videos.
Trust not something anyone should focus on. They are all reposting copying each other work.
Gameranx and Skill Up are pretty good for gaming news and reviews. I might disagree with a review here and there, but their reviews are never just blind praise for a game. They always cover issues with a game that they had. I also love Bruce and Lawrence from Inside Games for gaming news. I like Digital Foundry and NX Gamer from IGN for game tech reviews.
In 2023 just being called a “news outlet” means I don’t trust you lol but I love whatculturegaming.
Probably none
I see what a few say and make an educated decision off that and player reviews.
ACG , the escapist , sometimes skill up , gameranx mandalore reviews is also Grrat
