I would problem lose a substantial amount of interest in the team.

I’m used to having bad teams. I’m an O’s fan and I don’t care about hockey, so the only time I ever witnessed one of my teams win a championship was Maryland basketball, and I was only nine (9). Being accustomed to bad teams, I know that I’m never going to stop being a fan. And having a team having a bad season or bad stretch of seasons may not even make me care less.

But, a shitty rebrand coupled with a mediocre product and Snyder’s toxicity made me step back significantly last year. It wasn’t conscious, but there were a number of instances where I chose to do something other than watch them on Sundays. Five years ago I would have never imagined willingly missing a game.

The sale reenergized my fandom. I understood going into the year that if we had a bad season, changes were probably not going to be made until after the season. While I’m incredibly frustrated with this team, I get waiting to do anything.

After this season, it’s clear substantial change is necessary. Resigning RR would show ownership doesn’t care. If ownership doesn’t care, why should I?
