Hey there! Happy to share this new change that has gone stealth since ptr has come up. It’s confirmed to be intended from yday’s rioter streams and it’s here to stay.
The following items are now a group. Buying one of the group locks you out from buying any other item of the same group: Black Cleaver, Serylda, Mortal Reminder, LDR.
They also got rid of pen significantly: All pen from mythic passive is gone. Eclipse’s pen is gone. Serylda now reaches 32% pen only at full build, starts at 24% if you go it second item ( live value is 30% at all times ). Mages are gonna be less likely to rush liandry every game just to cockblock snowballing juggernauts because the item’s manaless, can’t rush it.
We’re finally back to a place where resistances finally matter! Can’t wait for it!

It wasn’t good gameplay to ignore 55% of a stat because of 2 items
Imagine farming 300 cs a tank, building 200 armor with that gold, but then you only have 85 armor that matters because of 2 items ( that also are decent in stats on their own)
