    My recollection, without looking at stats, was Mitchell was a decent quarterback, who had his moments, but was surrounded by a great cast which made him look like the problem. His imitation of Wayne Fontes at a Halloween party is why I love him.

    The Lions had some good teams in the 90s with Barry, Brett Perriman, Lomas Brown, Kevin Glover, Herman Moore, Johnnie Morton, Jason Hanson, Chris Spielman, Robert Porcher. We were just missing a good QB and Scott Mitchell wasn’t it. He also was kind of a dick. If we would have had a Stafford, or shit even a Brad Johnson we would have gone farther in the playoffs and made a Super Bowl.
