Dotabuff only has you up at most 2.6k experience at any point. You weren’t that far ahead. Also you guys got completely wiped, it looks like it was a 5-1. If it was a more even fight, the exp would have looked a little more balanced but yeah a team wipe is gonna give the opposing team a lot.
It’s true we got wiped 5-0, but in previous fights we such as those around 18:00-21:00, we also kill 6 for 1, and again 3 for 0 at 24:00. Our fights are giving very little EXP because we are slightly ahead.
So my point is, the comeback EXP slingshot feel too strong in my opinion. Because if you screw up even once, it’s not like your lead is gone and it’s now even, the enemy team actually gets an EXP lead triple the size yours was.
And I don’t think dotabuff is sampling the EXP frequently enough to show our lead properly, it seems to be on the minute every minute where as the plot in the replay is more continuous
