Yes it’s true, the lower the rank the less players understand how strong they are, where they should be, and what they could do if they just walked at the enemy towers or rosh as a group.
This is one big reason that games are longer on average the lower the MMR. It’s also why some late game heroes have a skewed win rate across MMR’s, for example PA’s win rate goes up and up the lower the MMR.
I’m not sure how much the communication score matters but it certainly wouldn’t help if they can’t even communicate what they think would be a good idea if they wanted to.
You can try to buy smokes yourself, maybe get deep wards, and ping what you think the team should do

It’s true we got wiped 5-0, but in previous fights we such as those around 18:00-21:00, we also kill 6 for 1, and again 3 for 0 at 24:00. Our fights are giving very little EXP because we are slightly ahead.
So my point is, the comeback EXP slingshot feel too strong in my opinion. Because if you screw up even once, it’s not like your lead is gone and it’s now even, the enemy team actually gets an EXP lead triple the size yours was.
And I don’t think dotabuff is sampling the EXP frequently enough to show our lead properly, it seems to be on the minute every minute where as the plot in the replay is more continuous

But another that could be funny is timbersaw. I’m pretty sure second charkam is not locked behind having his level 6. So you would have a 250 pure damage nuke on 8s cooldown.
Most players underestimate how much 4/5 contribute. Just watch the BSJ educational smurf series. There was a venge game where he was like 2-0-4 at 6:00 and had already single handedly snowballed the entire game as pos5.
Also a lot of people have this mindset that they need to win EVERY game to rank up. So they get into this “I must carry” mindset. When really you just need more than 50% win rate and to grind out games. Obviously a great support can influence games by enough to achieve a 53% win rate over 1000 games. Which is realistically what you are after when ranking up, not 85% winrates that are unachievable unless smurfing.
So you think that but it’s actually way better. One summer I was living somewhere else on bad wifi and kept trying to play dota but got several abandons and reports due to network issues. Eventually had to just stop playing dota at that house entirely.
I got down to like 5k (back when 10k was the max) and it was absolute hell. It’s hard to imagine people being worse than how they are at max behavior score but believe me they are and it’s awful.
People at >11k whine or say rude things but it’s still fairly rare to have broken items level of grief in an even or won game.
Just because you are getting reported more doesn’t mean they all count. They also said that players who mass report everyone would basically make their reports useless. I am also getting reported about 2x-4x as often as before the patch but my behavior has still climbed to 12k and remained there.
