Craig Porter Jr. What is there to be said about him? He plays ‘the right way’, he makes winnings plays, he scores well from inside 15 feet, he is athletic, plays larger than his build (serious I thought he was like 6’6" at first), he is efficient, he can effectively run an offense, and he is just such a damn cutie pie.

With that being said, just how good is he?

So far this season, Craig Porter Jr is averaging 6.5 PTS, 2.1 RBS, 1.9 AST, 0.8 STL, and 0.3 BLK in 11.4 minutes per game. While on the surface this seems a little underwhelming, when you look at his per 36 numbers they become pretty damn staggering.

Per 36: 20.6 PTS 6.7 RBS 5.9 AST 2.4 STL 0.8 BLK

Additionally, Craig Porter Jr is doing all this on an impressive 59.8 TS%. That includes a respectable 70.6% from the free throw line, despite going 1-6 against the Warriors. If you are a believer of advanced metrics, then Craig Porter Jr is also doing quite well in that regard, with a PER of 21.1, a BPM of 3.5 (including a defensive BPM of 3.5), and a VORP of 0.1.
