Have the receivers been really bad this season? I know earlier we saw a ranking that Terry was 80th ranked or so, with Jahan and Curtis also in the 80s. From watching on TV, it seems like the separation is very inconvenient and not frequent enough. Can the people that have been at the games or seen film of the whole field tell me what they’ve seen? It’s disappointing to think one of your best position groups from last year has been underperforming.

Terrys been off, probably the toe. Jahan has been bad. And Curtis is the only one producing regularly, when available.

Terry is always open, Sam just refuses to throw him the ball

I’ll be honest, I don’t see why this is an issue. Howell is still on pace for something like 4500 yards, he just spreads it around far more than most QB. Hell, look at Mahomes and how consistently his WR let him down, but he’s still putting up numbers.

I think it’s a combination of the scheme (both inherent and forced due to pass blocking) and Howell not often having enough time for longer developing routes. I’ll admit it isn’t always as pretty and I hope they find a way to open things up more, but I don’t think it’s a big an issue as some believe.

I notice a lot of routes, even late developing, where the player just runs a skinny route. They don’t even look for the ball because there’s no way you could see the quarterback without being the girl from the exorcist.
