For me right now it’s Ghost of Tsushima. 30hrs in and I’m getting a lot better. Playing on hard and can hold my own.
But between stances, quick throw, ranged weapon switches, ammo switches and more…there’s a lot of quick controls to use during combat.
“Which trigger has my smoke bombs? Wait, it’s a different trigger to my black powder bombs?”
I struggled for a long time making it become intuitive.
Combat is fast and dangerous so you can’t lose focus. You gotta be able to do it seamlessly.
What game did you struggle to learn, remember and master the controls?
Smash Bros. The bottom button regardless of the controller is usually jump
NOPE. Nintento made the top button jump. Had to remap the keya to play i found it so jaring
Baldur’s Gate 3.
I never played a game like this. Glad I battled it through.
Another one was Dark Souls 3, this took me ages to master. However, Thank god i pushed through as well, otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten into Bloodborne and the rest of FS games.
An old gameboy advance game lmao. I think it was a batman game and a one piece game. The controls just doesn’t click with me.
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord on console is gawd awful…tried hand-to-hand combat, and gave up because it’s just fucking awful.
GunValkyrie. Amazing game once you get the hang of it though.
Magicka 2. I completely sucked at it and I totally blame it on the controls
Ghostrunner and Speedrunners. There is a big gap between being comfortable with the controls and actually mastering them.
Astroneer enormously frustrated me to the point of making me give up.
