Stop begging for a tank.

We are not “one draft pick” away from being competitive.

We need to play good football the rest of the season. If we lose we lose but we need to see what the team actually has.

We almost beat Philly and first game vs Miami, we embarrassed the Bills game 1.

The locker room needs to rally and start playing football better. It doesn’t matter who we draft if the entire team is so broken mentally we can’t even string together competent plays.

Caleb Williams, news flash, he plays in a weaker conference in a QB friendly system and doesn’t look “generational” this season. He won’t fix the team.

MHJ would be amazing but he’s not going to “fix the team”.

We need to get back to playing mistake free football and see what we actually have to build around because right now we have no offensive ability, or fire in the players belly.

If you’re calling for a tank come back next season. It’s getting old.

Okay so your logic is *checks notes*…
We don’t know what the team has in it after… 10 weeks? And we almost beat a few good teams? Remember all the times the Jets, especially lead by Fitzpatrick, would almost beat us but not quite? Were those Jets teams good… at all? Ditto for the Tyrod Taylor bills. And how about all the times Brady would go down to Miami and LOSE? Or even when he lost to Fitz up here and lost the bye to KC. Those Miami teams were anywhere from “eh” to “literally bottom 2 team in the league.” We know EXACTLY what this team is, and losing Gonzales and Judon for the season basically means we should’ve already been in hard reset mode.

And your follow up logic is that a top 5 draft pick won’t fix the team. Sure. What if I told you that we would pick top 5 in every single round in the draft and all of our draft picks would be more valuable?
You’d rather throw all our known, mediocre talent out on the field (Mac, Parker, etc.) and “see what they have” instead of giving starts to our probably-worse-but-unknown guys (Cunningham, Thornton, etc.) and losing more, therefore enabling us to get slightly better talent across there board for our rebuild?

I’ll never understand the tank mentality. A season like this could ruin an organization for years to come. Draft picks aside, no free agent is going to want to come into this situation. You don’t build a team around rookies, you build it around established veterans that the rookies can learn from, and unless we WAY overpay no veteran is going to want to come within 100 yards of this dumpster fire unless things improve, and the only way to do that is win, draft position be damned
