He says that skillsets determine the offense, and when the rubber meets the road per say, they go back to their skillsets to get more offense.
No amount of quick passing and movement on offense changes the fact that the defense doesn’t need to react to any of it when there is no shooting on the floor. It’s a personnel issue.
Look at the shots gradey was creating with movement and quick passing. He got wide open threes (that he missed, but still) because the threat of his shooting creates chaos in the defense. Nobody else on the team can do that.
Nothing will change as long as we have Barnes / Siakam, one must go
