Did anyone see the players poll on the Athletic this week? They asked 80 some NFL players to answer questions about the NFL and their names would remain anonymous. What I found interesting was the results about Ford Field. They asked which stadium is your favorite to play in, and not one single player gave Ford Field a vote, almost every stadium in the league at least got one vote. Then they asked which stadium is their least favorite to play in and Ford Field was #6 overall for least favorite to play. I thought that was pretty surprising. Thought Ford Field was a nice stadium, good surface to play on, nice lockerrooms and everything. Anyone have a reason why this is?
I’d like to know when the poll was taken. If it was taken before the turf was changed in the offseason, then their position makes sense. Otherwise, I’m confused.
As this year and subsequent years pass, they’re (opponents) going to hate it all the more!!! Hahahaha (Insert sinister laugh)
