Hey fellow Seahawks fans! 🏈
As we gear up for tomorrow’s showdown against the 49ers, I can’t help but ponder the key factors that could propel our team to serious Super Bowl contention. Do you think addressing our O-line and bolstering our pass rushers could be the game-changer?
I’m stoked about the upcoming game and mentally prepared for any outcome, as long as we avoid a blowout loss. Let’s dive into some football talk – what are your thoughts on going toe-to-toe with the stacked 49ers roster? Luck aside, can strategic improvements make a significant impact?
Share your insights and let’s rally behind our Seahawks! 💙💚 #GoHawks #SuperBowlContenders
Yes, we got destroyed in the trenches against the Ravens, a legit Super Bowl contender I think. If they can improve in the trenches, then it will allow our receivers, running backs, and corners to shine more.
I thought so too but they lost Andrews for the season ; OBJ is always a tackle away from a season ending injury . So ravens may be out of contention at this point I would think.
The #1 upgrade we could make would be hiring a guy to stand behind Shane Waldron chanting “QUICK PASS, QUICK PASS” all game
Second-best would be O-Line. I don’t think our O-Line is that bad (around league average if I had to guess) but our passing playcalls make their job a lot harder. Having a blue-chip O-line is never a bad thing.
I honestly believe that this team has no holes. They’ve done an incredible job rebuilding the entire roster in two years. The roster is young and complete. What they’re missing is blue chip star players at any position, but especially QB and pass rush. The o line is underperforming but they have everything they need if Abe Lucas is able to play (worried about his career right now).
The good thing about having a complete roster is that they can continue to draft best player available, which is the best way to get blue chip prospects. Cutting Geno and getting younger at safety is probably the best way to keep the team intact. I think Wagner has another season in him at least, as long as they understand he is a liability in crossing route coverage.
I think it’s time to take a swing on a first round QB. The prospects in this class look very promising. If a Jayden Daniels falls to them, take a swing. A good QB on a rookie contract is the most valuable thing in the sport. Any chance at a disruptive defensive lineman in the draft or free agency is worth a look too.
We need a Bosa or Garrett or Watt or Crosby type talent as an anchor on defense.
We definitely need upgrades at linebacker and safety.
Perhaps draft a mid/late round qb to compete with Geno and Lock but not an immediate priority.
Outside of that, we are pretty set at offense and defense both.
We really shouldn’t be struggling with this level of talent in the team.
