  • What Jamal did was immature and he should just apologize for being a dickhead, especially to the woman he demeaned. Until he does that, he’ll have more people rooting against him.

By excusing him attacking someone’s wife, it further erodes civility by making that conduct seem OK. It also makes the fan base and organization look bad. How will he feel if someone attacks his wife? Whoever that person is in the future, hopefully she has thick skin because it’s going to be open season for the “two wrongs make a right” crowd.

  • I heard it was a personal favorite of Paul Allen around the time he bought the team. The instrumentation is pretty cool on that song, but the vocals and lyrics are a little rough. Interestingly, the Verve didn’t do the instrumentation. They sampled from an Andrew Oldham Orchestra song that sampled from a Rolling Stone song, which borrowed from a traditional folk song. David Whitaker wrote the awesome string line for the song.

  • Last couple weeks teams have decided to double team him more or chip off him. He doesn’t have the overwhelming physical talent or skill to be effective in those situations. A lot of his pressures have come on one on ones or even being left unblocked early in the season. Nwosu is definitely missed, but I would like to see them finally give Levi Bell some opportunities. Wouldn’t be surprised if he led the team in pressures if he got 15-20 snaps.

This should probably have Adams (69.9 grade) on there since it seems like he’s going to play.

Also, Jarran Reed (58.9 grade) should be there and Dre’Mont Jones may play more edge than Taylor.

I have no idea who is starting on the right side of the offensive line this week. It seems like Abe Lucas (69.8 grade) actually has a chance to return if they decide he’s ready. Haynes (54.3) made some critical errors again and rookie Anthony Bradford (60.5) could start over him if he’s ready.

  • Coby Bryant, who has been sidelined by a toe injury for the past two months, has been cleared to return to practice.

Bryant, Seattle’s nickel corner as a rookie, played in that spot in the first two games of the season before a toe injury caused him to go on injured reserve. Bryant can now practice for up to 21 days without being added to the 53-man roster, at which point he either has to be put on the roster or stay on injured reserve for the season.

Additionally, tackle Jake Curhan was signed to the practice squad after clearing waivers. Curhan was waived on Saturday to make room on the 53-man roster for Jason Peters.
