I’m basically asking what the title says. I browse here semi-regularly and see some of the game titles that get mentioned in questions about music and bosses and things like that, but I’m wondering if there are any games that you guys play that do not get much mention here. It can be recommended for any reason, I’ve just been trying to expand my taste in games recently. I basically only play PS5, so try to keep main recommendations there, but feel free to bring up other platforms if there are games that you feel are truly amazing and not many people have played.

I’ll start with two games, both of which I played on PS5 but are on Xbox and Steam as well. First, Descenders is a rouge-like game where you ride a bike through different paths, obstacles, and environments to try getting as far into the levels as you can, needing to do challenges to earn lives. This game can be challenging at times, but overall, I loved the music and visuals, especially the Desert at night. Second, Dungeon Munchies is a game I just started earlier today that I quickly started to like. It’s a side scroller action RPG, and while it can feel a little weird at times, I think the dialogue is great and the music is also nice.

I feel that all the little gems on consoles, especially current gen, are usually well recognized by critics and public since the number of releases is not that high. On PC and mobile, it’s another story. But then you open Pandora’s box!

Like for example Don’t Starve and Don’t Starve Together, you might be able to play them on PS5 but I’m not sure how well you can play them though… Top down survival game, really fun in coop, with a unique design and neat gameplay mechanics.
