Thanks to the steam deck I finally started purchasing games after sailing the seas if you know what I mean. It’s pretty great but unsustainable for me. I heard of humblebundle from another SD subreddit but looking at it, all the games seem. . .for lack of a better word, mid. Maybe I just don’t know enough about it
Post was removed for mentioning the p word but For context I mostly only play “mainstream” games such as RDR2, BFV, GTAV, BG3, Cyberpunk, Spiderman and switch games. I don’t usually like games like, say Hades, DaveTheDiver or persona 5 (despite their success and strong followings, no hate, I’m just not a hardcore gamer)
They absolutely can be but for example a hello kitty bundle wouldnt be worth it. All about your tastes and if theyve got a good bundle for you
Don’t fall for steam deals, buy games u know you will play
There are a few sites that track sales on all games, which can usually be better if you like bigger AAA titles.
Humble usually seems to be bundles of 1 semi-interesting indie game paired with others you usually wouldn’t play or buy. It’s OK if you initially just want a cheap way to get a lot of games on your deck, and you don’t are what those games are; just time killers.
For indie developers it’s probably a good way to get their games sales which folks wouldn’t otherwise get much sales.
I think I only ever used Humble when I saw a particular game I wanted on sale there via the deal tracking sites.
