Right now the minnesota vikings have 2 QB’S and I just saw an article about which one would be better to start. I’m thinking between Hall and Dobbs we should really just start both. It may just throw the opponents defense off. Obviously I’m not the coach so this isn’t my choice to make, however If you the reader could make this choice with the option of starting both in mind. Which would QB would you chose? A journeyman or rookie? Knowing the journeyman has the experience, but the rookie could use that experience to better the team down the line?

The age old adage is when you have 2 QBs, you have no QBs. Id much rather see what Hall has, but I think that’s a bit of an admission that this team isn’t SB worthy. Dobbs has some real skills, but I don’t think he is a starter, at least not until he improves on his passing game. Personally, I think this offense runs through the passing game so I’d like our QB to be the guy to take advantage of that. Until further notice though, it makes sense Dobbs is the guy. He should build chemistry with the crew and KOC should be feeling out the do’s and don’ts of his situation with Dobbs.

By starting 2 QBs. You’re effectively playing with 10 men. If intent is to confuse the defense, the QB who isn’t active on a given play will be a decoy majority of the time to play decoy. It will also incentivize the defense to take cheap shots on the QB if he is acting like a blocker on a play he is not involved in. Finally, if it was a plausible strategy, it would been tried at the college or high school level first.

Also, I would like to put it out there. I’m no sports expert, so I’d prefer no bite back if this sounds ridiculous.

I’d say we make them do a bunch of pro bowl drill challenges and winner gets to start

Hall is NOT ready to win in the NFL … Dobbs is proven
