Lol. Pop is the embodiment of “I have no enemies.” And I love him for it.

Shame I’m not Pop. Fuck Kawhi.

I admire Pop’s sense of character here, but the streets don’t forget.

Except when spurs fans see him out on the streets then apparently it’s all love, according to Kawhi

Love pop. We’ve been mid to bad for so long that some sad fans have to hold onto grudges and manufacture new ones like with DJ. It is what it is, players leave. We have no real proof Kawhi drama was as legit as it seemed. It could’ve mostly been he made it clear he wanted to go play for his hometown (LA) and spurs got most out of him in the trade just like DJ let them known he would test FA and they didn’t want to risk losing him for nothing. It sucks but if Pop, Manu, Tim, Parker all seem to be on good terms with Kawhi (and Dejounte too) then my guess is to side with the players

Joe Gould: That guy’s a bum.

Jimmy Braddock: Two bits will get a guy a seat and that guy gets to watch you bleed and call you a bum. And I know I gotta take it from him, 'cause he’s a paying customer.”

    Cinderella Man (2005)

Sorry Pops. You’re wrong on this one. The people at the stadium are paying customers. They came here to be entertained and are entitled to express their displeasure to seeing a snake shoot free throws.

I love that the crowd started booing louder after Pops comment. Maybe if Pop had come at it a little different and a better tone instead of chastising the fans, who paid $100+, like he was their father. That was so cringe, pop sounded really out of touch right there.

If the crowd wasn’t throwing objects, yelling obscenities or anything derogatory, then Pop needs to worry about his team. Kawhi is a big boy, he can handle the boos.
