i’m tellin y’all the kroenkes need to send the league a message and hold their team out of the next national tv game. This is getting out of hand and Jokic is going to be seriously injured if the refs don’t start calling these obvious hard fouls.

I mean, I love the Nugs and Jokic is my favorite player. But isn’t Suggs just a hard playing dude that wants to win? There was clearly no ill between these two if you watched them interact after the game .

Nothing looks malicious on either side of this exchange to me. Looks like Magic treating it like playoff basketball and trying at max intensity. I respect effort and passion in sports.

Maybe not the best officiating but not that egregious compared to what is often norm for non big market teams. Jokic and the Nugs as a whole definitely don’t get the whistle enough though

    This isn’t new.

Just look at the difference in free throws that Jokic gets compared to Embiid.

Jokic has guys hanging on him constantly and gets no whistle. Embiid gets breathed on and gets a foul

It’s interesting to compare the amount of soft ass touch fouls Embiid draws every game to Jokic getting hammered multiple times per game with no whistle.

What I noticed is Jokic has too much integrity and respect for the game to throw up his arms every time he feels contact and then purposely lose control of the ball like what Embiid does on a consistent basis.

Imagine a world where the refs have integrity and a desire to behave properly, the NBA doesn’t exist in that world.
