I was at the game and fans boo’d harder after pop asked us to stop. What happened after? The team was ignited. They played with fire, they closed the lead to 4 and the bench was on their feet the entire run. I saw a team that was energized by the crowd’s defiance of pop. Like it or not, it was very telling.

Maybe He played both sides? Doubtful but with his move, The onus is off the organization and Popovich stands for what’s right in the greater good. It’s been long enough for us to get over Kawhi drama. Also naturally it invigorated the crowd to dbl down. Clips missed shots , more so than before and the crowd juiced up the team. We competed Tn, clips are much better than us. Pop does what he wants and I’m fine with it

What is telling is how some Spurs fans treat Kawhi. I understand being upset for a year or two, but it’s been more than 5 years. If I was a player, that makes it seem like a shit fanbase. Now, see it through the lens of a 19 y.o. generational talent, those are some early warning signs.

I think they were just energized by a crowd not sitting on their hands
