They said early on in this season that she lived in India for a year before deciding to move there permanently to be with TJ. Did people not see where she said that the things she chose for the apartment construction were not what she picked out before she left? Why is everyone saying she should have researched the culture? I’m pretty sure living there for a year can equal to doing some research on the internet.

Well I will say it again - she should have known what would happen at her wedding rather that whine no one was telling her. She lived there but didn’t embrace the culture (obviously) so she should have at least googled “what to do when I marry into the Indian culture “. She’s just a whiny fool

When the season started, I was one of the ones saying she should’ve known what she was getting herself into - but that was based on the information we saw in the beginning. As they’ve shown more and more, I’ve seen how TJ has deceived her and I’ve concluded that they both suck.

I hope Kimberly is back in the US, and I hope they’re both doing some serious work on themselves. I think Kimberly has a good heart but she’s kind of all over the place and really needs to find some focus and calm in her life. Also, garlic and onions.

I’ve thought this from the start - they have edited her to be this American psycho (which eh, maybe she is) but Jesus god Leah (teen mom saying sorry), I would probably be that overwhelmed too.

She lived there for a while arse year and TJ had no inclination to divulge EXACTLY what living in his household would entail. She thought I’m sure their marriage would be similar to what it was like when she lived there for that year - which makes sense.

I think TJ lied A LOT and was the one who had to change the least, and had the least to lose. I would become a tad psycho too in those circumstances

Kimberly has a lot of faults, but the culture clash wasn’t her fault. TJ was lying. He straight up said he was lying.

Yeessss! If we look at it in the other direction, nobody bullied Julia for not researching American culture and hating living on the farm… because obviously not all Americans farms and there’s all types of different lifestyles and culture. Same goes for India. Two of my friends from work are from complete different regions of India, and neither one of them have ever heard of cleaning your kitchen with cow shit lol

Some people just get a hard-on trying to justify oppressing woman. They so badly want to argue that it’s okay because of culture, as though the women who are born to that culture somehow don’t deserve rights.

I don’t follow. What does the construction of the apartment have to do with education of culture?

The fact that she was aware of how the household was run on a daily bases since she was physically there when picking out things like the kitchen counters.

Regardless of her preparation, she is ruining that family. Driving a wedge between them all. I do assume he kept a lot of things from her, but at the same time I cannot imagine staying with another family I barely know, and they are already complaining about me, and I STILL stay there.

Didn’t her stupid cards warn her about this? Also, its pretty common knowledge that Krishna only eats garlic once a week

I had made such a comment and I was more referring to the customs regarding the wedding and homemaking, the rituals themselves, etc. She may have lived there but she did so as an American student/tourist. She didn’t likely come and stay studying the very things that she’s going through now as a wife. She obviously didn’t adopt the religion, or learn the language. So clearly living there wasn’t enough to prepare for actually being a citizen there.

If she lived there for a year then she’s the dumbest moron ever in the history of 90 day. She’s still somehow completely clueless about Indian culture
