Just curious because he was a finals MVP there as well and say a video of the Spurs coach telling the fans to stop booing him, which made them boo him more. Would he also get booed like that in Toronto if he were to return to play against?

Why is this even a question? Kawhi gets a huge ovation every time he plays here. People talk about building a statue for him.

He wasn’t even boo’d the first game back after choosing LA, he was unanimously cheered, as he should have been. He’s really the only Toronto superstar that went out and grabbed a Chip for the city and country in so many years. I still think there should be a statue of “The Shot”
