4 road games. 2 home games. 1 bye week.

  • At the Eagles who are 9-1 (in the Superbowl last year; arguably the best team in the NFL. Last week they defeated the Chiefs, holding Mahomes to 55.8% completions and only 177 yards passing. The Eagles are 1st in the NFL is 3rd down completions. Considering this will be in Philadelphia, the Bills will have to be operating on all cylinders to win this one. Personally, I don’t think the Bills can stop the Eagles’ running game)
  • Bye Week (will be needed!)
  • At the Chiefs who are 7-3 (won the Superbowl last year, but right now they are showing many vulnerabilities. Will those vulnerabilities be fixed or still exist by the time the Bills see them?)
  • Hosting the Cowboys who are 7-3 (nearly all their wins have come against terrible teams)
  • At the Chargers who are 4-6 (a mediocre team, but a game all the way on the west coast. Probably a lock for the Bills. But you never know)
  • Hosting the Patriots who are 2-8 and are the laughingstock of the NFL. Which makes me so very happy.
  • At the Dolphins who are 7-3 and will want vengeance on their own turf. It is likely that the Bills and Dolphins will need this win to solidify their playoff spots.

With all that said, the Bills will likely beat the Cowboys, Chargers, and Patriots, which would get them to 9 wins. But 10 wins would be ideal. The Chiefs seem most vulnerable.

What do you see as the Bills road to 10 wins?

I’m just thinking, “Dayum we have a tough schedule for the rest of the year.”

Do you feel the same about the Cowboys after yesterday’s win?

Philly is a guaranteed loss, while Kansas City and Dallas are both up in the air. Our best road to 10 wins is through the Chargers, New England, Miami, and capitalizing on the lack of quality receivers on KC.

We can lose one more game, but we have to beat the Eagles. I know from a matchup point of view it’s the least important game on our schedule, but one win against the Jete does not mean the offense is back. The team needs to build upon that win and build their confidence going into the bye.

Said it before NYJ. Go 2-1 in the next three and refocus after that. Think the games after that are all winnable but it’s kind of a fluid situation. Miami may or may not have a vested interest in the finale. Cowboys are currently playing great, Chargers may be dead by the time we get there etc…
