Except he isn’t? If he calls a play that has Mahomes throwing somewhere he expects his receivers to be, only for them to not get there, that’s absolutely on the receivers and not on the coach. If it were a bad play call, sure, and that hasn’t been perfect this season. But execution has been by far the biggest problem for this offense across the board. Same with turnovers and penalties.
