It just so happens that I unwittingly built my base about 1000 blocks away from a village, causing pillager patrols to spawn every few in game days. I built a wall around my base and have it brightly lit up, but they always seem to spawn within the perimeter of the walls. Is there any way to stop this, or is it something I just have to deal with?

Patrols can spawn on any non-fluid block with a motion-blocking material, with the exception of leaves. They can spawn during the day on blocks with a block light level of 8 or lower. If a player is within 5 by 5 by 5 sub-chunk cube around a village, patrols do not spawn.
