It’s a paywall link from the Atlantic so I’m not posting it, but it was a brief bit of info for Buffalo.
If we could trade elam to a team that fits his skill set and get a corner that is good depth for our scheme that would be great. I think we could use some linebacker depth too but corner is probably the bigger need because Poyer has done alright moving around the field.
We absolutely need to get at least a CB and/or DT before the deadline. It doesn’t take much draft capital to get a top player if he’s on the final year of his contract.
This makes sense, but I wouldn’t expect a starter. Maybe a Nick McCloud or something.
If we trade for patrick surtain im getting josh allen tattooed across my throat hurdling my adams apple. Tell me i fuckin wont
Why do people think thinking this will happen? The max that’s going to happen is that we pick up Jaylon Johnson from the Bears. Surtain would cost a minimum of 2 firsts that Beane ain’t never going to give up.
Thanks for the info brando
They may try to make a splash. I mean presently we have 2 outside CB’s that McD trusts to play. Long term, who know what the future holds for Tre but I doubt he’s coming back next year as CB-1. They will either have to use the draft in April or draft assets now depending on what’s available.
I hope they kick the tires on Jaylon Johnson. Think he has the highest DB PFF grade so far this season and his contract is coming up. Could maybe work out a trade and sign.

As a reminder, paywalls are not bad. It’s the only reasonable way for modern journalism to survive at this time.
Tired of the Brian Cashman-esque code-speak. Just get someone or don’t.
