I’d rather entertain the idea of hooker being bad than paying Goff 200 million for 4 years. That’s the shit that will send this franchise into the dirt. If hooker ends up being bad we can still put a good offensive line and weapons around him while being able to pay for defenders. If we pay Goff and then all of a sudden can’t seem to pay for good offensive line play. We’re screwed

How many QBs have the Lions tried over the last 50 years? How many of them were better than Goff?

Is Goff the second coming of Tom Brady? No. Would Goff be the worst QB ever to win the Super Bowl? Also no.

I can’t tell you enough how fine I am with it. There are only 12-14 qbs worth the contract at any given time, they don’t grow on trees, and Goff is certainly one of them.

Let’s suppose that Goff rebounds and plays decently for the rest of the season and we could trade Goff for a 1st round pick in this year’s draft. Would we do it?

If Hendon is better than Goff or not far from him, that’s great. If Hendon doesn’t work out then we’ve built a team with a missing QB piece and will have to figure out a way to fill it.

Yesterday is a wash because he had no protection the whole game. He was getting smacked around the whole game.

Last week was a bad game for him. But then the comeback was money, so is this an overall issue? He’s been pretty damn good this year.
