Holy shit. I was just thinking. Everything aside, imagine being AOC. Dude is kind of a frumpus, average dude. Not super fit or chiseled or anything, but he is Starting Quarterback for the most badass franchise in NFL history. He is out there throwing passes and handing the ball off to some of the best players in the league. He is supported and respected by all these awesome, powerful people, rocking SILVER AND BLACK! He’s not a captain, and me may not make it to next season…

…but imagine being him. That’s all of us. Just a goober, every day joe, out there playing on the fuckin RAIDERS. I can’t even imagine. The stories he’s gonna tell his grand kids. What a cool thing. Good for him!

Until he does a commercial drinking a liter of cola, then he will have a great story.

Honestly I think it’s just the stache. If he didn’t have that goofy lip caterpillar I think people would just treat him like any other youthful rookie

It’s not even half the story of Brock Purdy, whose ride could come to an end any moment.

      I get what you’re saying. I think.

Dude only played one and a half years of varsity football and was bound for a D3 school but decided to walk on at Purdue so he would see top level ncaa coaching to have a better shot at becoming a coach after college.

Instead he fucking gives it his all and makes it to starter, has a great run at an underwhelming program, gets drafted, and becomes an NFL starter, even if only for a couple months.

It’s a fuckin legendary story compared to most dudes in the league.

I thought you were going to bring up his walk on status and having to work his way up the depth chart and the death of his brother……but nope.
