Hey all. Next week I am flying from Europe to attend Celtics - Sixers at the TD garden. It will be obviously my first game and it is also my first visit to the States. Any tips or recommendations for a first-timer? Thanks!
The North End is Boston’a Italian district and nearby the arena, popular place to grab dinner ahead of time. There’s also a handful of touristy Irish bars nearby that are also popular (but again, touristy). Both of these options might be of little interest as well considering you’re come from Europe.
What’s the kind of time looking for?
It’ll be cold, so if you’re walking at all bundle up.
If you’re getting there well early you could do some site seeing, walk the Freedom trail
Thanks a lot, everyone. I am staying relatively close to the arena - 30 minute walk. Will have some time for exploring before the game, but not much. Just to grab a dinner and that’s it. Preferably to try something American. What is a good time to head to the garden? The game is at 19:30.
