Defense needs improvement but you can’t win games turning the ball over constantly. It is a moralle breaker and makes it extremely difficult on the defense.

What we need to do is get our shit together and quit with the mental mistakes. This team obviously came out different second half. That tells me we were not mentally prepared which is honestly not acceptable.

The team looks tired and out of steam.

This is up to Dan to fix.

Have you been watching the same defense? The past five weeks there has been ZERO pressure on QBs.

503 yards to the Ravens - 0 sacks, 2 TFL. Against the horrid Raiders team our d did okay - 6 sacks and held them under 200 yards. Allowed 420yds and 5 straight TDs to the Chargers - 0 sacks and 1 TFL. Against the Bears they allowed Fields to run for over 100, and he’s run for over 350 against the Lions his past three games. Only 2 sacks.

    Against the Pack - 380 yds allowed - 0 sacks, 3 TFL.

The defense against these teams, outside of the Raiders game, has been horrible. While they are doing really good against the run, they are generating ZERO pressure on opposing QBs. QBs with NO PRESSURE and having over 3 seconds on average to pass are lighting up our secondary.

We’ve only generated 12 turnovers this season, 8th worst in the league. We’ve only generated 23 sacks this season, an inflated number because we had 7 in the ATL game, 5 in the first GB game, and 6 in the Raiders game.

18 of our 23 sacks come from THREE games. That means we have FIVE sacks in the other 8 games.

Hutch is a great athlete, but he can’t do it alone. Opposing defenses just double him or chip him and effectively nullify him since there is no one opposite to benefit. Houston was supposed to be that guy, but he broke his ankle and might not be as effective when he returns.
